Cambridge Program Instructions

Cambridge offers a variety of programs to help you lose or maintain weight and have more energy and better health through balanced nutrition. Your Cambridge Distributor can help you select the program or programs that best suit your needs.  If you select the Fast Start Program and choose to use the Original Cambridge 300 formula, you must have 4 rounded servings a day to meet the U.S.RDA recommendation for protein. 
 

Regular Weight Loss Program

The Regular Program is suitable for any weight loss goal and can be easily adapted to any lifestyle.

1.  Enjoy your Cambridge Food For Life drinks, soups, oats, or bars at or near mealtime each day. Remember - I serving is good; 2 servings are better; 3 servings for Best Results! 

2.  Add 400 to 800 calories (the number will depend on your body size, your activity level and the rate at which you wish to lose weight) from a variety of low-fat, conventional foods in the form of meals or snacks. Check food labels for calorie and fat content to help you make good choices and use the Walking Guide & Instruction Sheet to help you increase activity. 

3.  Drink a minimum of eight 8-ounce glasses of water over the course of each day, in addition to any other non-calorie beverages you may consume. 

You can stay on this program until  you reach your target weight It's normal to reach a plateau along the way, so don't panic.  Just stick with the program and the weight will come off.  For additional help over a plateau, you can always switch to the Fast Start Program for a few days. 

Fast Start Weight Loss Program

The Fast Start Program is designed to help you lose the maximum amount of weight in the shortest period of time. The Fast Start Program is very simple and easy to follow: 

1.  Just treat yourself to three servings of Cambridge Food for Life drinks, soups, oats or pudding at or near mealtime each day.  If you experience late evening hunger, you can add a fourth serving at that time. For those using Cambridge Original 330 formula, a fourth serving is a must. Remember - this program requires at least 3 servings a day (4 rounded servings for Original 330), since it is your only source of nutrition. 

2.   Do not eat any conventional foods in order to best maintain maximum fat burning. 

3.   Drink a minimum of eight 8-ounce glasses of water over the course of each day in addition to any other non-caloric beverages you may consume. 

If you wish to lose more weight after two full weeks on the Fast Start Program, The company  recommends that you switch to the Regular Program and continue with that plan until you reach your goal weight.  If you are being monitored by a doctor he may approve your continuing without addidtional food. 

Weight Maintenance Program

A weight maintenance plan is a critical element in any weight loss plan since statistics show that a high percentage of people who lose weight regain all or part of that weight within two years. The Cam- bridge Weight Maintenance Program is designed to keep you feeling and looking great, while maintaining your weight loss. Here's how it works: 

1.  Continue to enjoy your servings of Cambridge Food For Life drinks, soups, oats, pudding or bars each day as the foundation for your nutritional needs.  Have your servings at mealtime or at those times of the day when you feel the urge to snack. Remember - I serving is good; 2 servings are better; 3 servings for Best Results! 

2.  Gradually increase the amount of conventional foods you consume until you reach the number of calories that support your new body size and activity level. 

3.   Weigh yourself at the same time each day.  If you see a few pounds creeping back, select one or more of these options: 

  • Increase your level of activity. 
  • Lower your caloric intake from conventional foods. 
  • Temporarily switch to one of the Cambridge weight loss programs. 
Lifetime Nutrition Program 

The Cambridge Lifetime Nutrition Program is the companion program to the Cambridge Weight Maintenance Program.  It is designed to benefit everyone, regardless of their weight.  If you ever feel guilty about your food choices or worry about meeting your nutritional needs in today's fast food world, the Cambridge Lifetime Nutrition Program is for you.

(4 1/2 servings of 330)  No matter what else you eat, you will have the confidence of knowing that you are nutritionally balanced. 

All you do is treat yourself to three servings of Cambridge Food For Life drinks, soups, oats  or bars each day (or you can have three scoops of Cambridge formula in 10 ounces of water just twice a day). Have your Cambridge servings in place of a meal, as part of a meal, as a snack or anytime you need a "pick-me-up". Remember - I serving is good; 2 servings are better; 3 servings for Best Results!
